Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before enrolling in the Properdj Academy.
By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
1. ENROLLMENT & REGISTRATION 1.1. Enrolments are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. 1.2. Registration is considered complete only after deposit payment of the specified plan and submission of all required documents. 1.3. The minimum age for enrolment is 8 years and over. Students below the age of 18 must provide parental or guardian consent in writing and in special cases accompanied by the parents/guardian.
3. COURSE STRUCTURE 3.1. Students are expected to attend all classes punctually. Missed classes will not be rescheduled unless the DJ Academy deems it necessary. 3.2. Students are responsible for their own transportation. 3.3. The DJ Academy reserves the right to modify the course structure, curriculum, and schedules as needed. Students will be notified of any changes in advance.
5. FACILITY & EQUIPEMENT 5.1. Students are expected to handle all equipment and facilities with care. Any damage caused due to negligence will be the responsibility of the student to cover repair or replacement costs. 5.2. Students may use the equipment and facilities during scheduled class times or with explicit permission from the Academy.
7. PRIVACY 7.1. Properdj Academy may collect and use personal information for administrative and educational purposes. Personal information will be handled in accordance with relevant data protection laws. 7.2. Photos, videos, and recordings taken during classes or events may be used for promotional purposes by the Academy.
9. LIABILITY 9.1. Properdj Academy is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or loss of belongings incurred during classes, events, or on the premises.
2. PAYMENTS To secure a place in the course, a non-refundable deposit equivalent to 50% of the total course fee must be paid for the GOLD PLAN in advance prior to the commencement of lessons. The remaining 50% balance shall be payable in full in accordance with the agreed payment arrangement, including where payment is made in arrears. By enrolling in the GOLD PLAN course, the student acknowledges and agrees that the remaining 50% due is payable regardless of attendance, withdrawal, or discontinuation of the course after commencement and after deposit has been paid. In the event of late or non-payment, the Academy reserves the right to suspend participation in the course and to take the necessary steps to recover outstanding amounts, including referral to debt recovery or credit information services where applicable under Maltese law. 2.1 For the SILVER PLAN the total amount of the course fee shall be paid in full and upfront for enrolment.
4. CODE OF CONDUCT 4.1. Students are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors and fellow students. 4.2. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. 4.3. Possession or use of illegal substances or engaging in any illegal activities on the class premises is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate expulsion with no refund.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 6.1. All course materials, including but not limited to lectures, presentations, and written content, are the intellectual property of the Properdj Academy and may not be distributed, reproduced, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent by the Academy.
8. TERMINATION & REFUNDS 8.1. Properdj Academy reserves the right to terminate a student's enrolment for violation of these terms and conditions or for disruptive behavior, without providing a refund.
10. STUDENT & ACADEMY REPUTATION 10.1. In order to safeguard the Student/Performer and the Academy's integrity and reputation, the Student shall never take bookings or perform in public without the written consent and go-ahead given by the Academy's instructor/s once the Student completes the course.
